Learning outcomes

During the internship, students will learn the principle of semeiotics and will be instructed on how to made a right objective examination of the patient, on which diagnostics tests should be requested, and how to manage the patient based on all the information which are the most important factors for appropriate diagnosis and clinical approach.

Course contents

students will partecipate actively at the ward round during one week of frequency of internship.

Teaching methods

Students will be educated on how to collect accurately the history of the patient, how to make an appropriate physical examination, how to perform a correct diagnostic and clinical approach.

Obviously there will be an interactive discussion of the clinical cases.

Assessment methods

There will be evaluation of learning done by evaluating students during the interactive discussion of clinical cases
