Learning outcomes

At the end of the module the student knows the basic psychometric concepts, concept of clinical normality and statistical normality, of interindividual variability and is able to choose, use and evaluate the adequacy of assessment tools

Teaching methods

Frontal lectures and seminar of discussion, Group work.

Given the numerous examples of in-depth studies carried out in the classroom it is advisable to actively attend the lessons.

In the case of special needs, the lecturer can be contacted in order to jointly activate with the University Service for students with disabilities and Specific Learning Disorders the appropriate support methods.

Due to the Covid-19 emergency, all lessons will be offered in blended mode with the possibility of attending online via the Teams platform accessible from the virtual page.unibo.it

Assessment methods

The exam consists of an oral test that focuses on the verification of the acquisition of the course objectives.

In the oral exam it will be required to deepen two topics of the course indicated by the teacher and to report application examples on them. The following will be taken as indicator: a. completeness; b. clarity of presentation; c. the appropriateness of the terms used. Each of the two questions is assigned a score from 0 to 15 resulting from the sum of each parameter (evaluated from 0 to 5). Sufficiency is obtained with a score of 18.

To take the exam it is necessary to register through the electronic bulletin board, in compliance with the established deadlines. Those who are unable to register for technical problems by the scheduled date, are required to promptly (and in any case before the official closing of the registration lists) communicate the problem to the didactic secretariat. The teacher will be able to admit them to take the test.

Because of the Covid-19 emergency situation it will be possible that the exam will be online on Teams.
