88527 - Workshop Activities: Teaching and Teaching Methodology for Motor Activity (ABCD)

Academic Year 2021/2022

  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: Single cycle degree programme (LMCU) in Primary teacher education (cod. 8540)

Course contents

The laboratory program is oriented towards contents related to education through the body and movement as an educational framework for the person.

The laboratory will present a series of educational situations based on the concepts of embodied education. The aim is to involve the students in a series of experiences where body-movement, sensory-motor functions and cognitive functions will be integrated, continuously, into intentional activities based on discovery and problem solving.

Attention, concentration, control, awareness, decision and evaluation , will be constantly involved inspecific tasks , or tasks freely chosen or referable to personal intuitions.

Through this approach we will start from spontaneous motility, based on basic motor patterns, to reach general motor skills and, for the children of the last primary school classes, to play oriented sports skills (non-specialized play activity).

Within the contents will be proposed  inclusive educational situations based on motivational climate to the competence  and motivational orientation to the task, as strategies respectful of the single person.
