Learning outcomes

The students, at the end of the course will be able to face the design of a beta-service, starting from the needs of a multi-stakeholder system. 

They will be able to develop a critical thinking, and a research-analysis activities, to give scientific support to their elaborations. 

Course contents

The first part of the Lab will be dedicated to projects, experiences and case histories related to cultural and creative disciplines (audiovisual, radio, publishing, visual and ux design), with the aim of designing a personal "computer book".
In the second part of the lab, students will attend a workshop dedicated to service design.
In particular, the workshop will be oriented towards the transfer of principles, methods and tools of Design Thinking and Service Design by immersing participants in a group project work to prototype/develop a service product system for the library sector.

Assessment methods

The workshop will monitor the progress of projects according to the following criteria:
Capacity for analysis, cognitive investigation and synthesis
Ability to transfer into a design vision
Knowledge of the basic tools and methods of Service Design
