Learning outcomes

The main objective of this course is to provide basic knowledge on the following items:

-principles of the evidence-based medicine and prevention

-distribution of environmental diseases 

-introduction to the main methods of the epidemiological studies used in public health

Course contents

Environmental epidemiology methodology, with emphasis on exposure assessment and protection from bias

Evaluation of effectiveness of preventive interventions

Case-study: presentation by students
