Teaching methods

Teaching methods

Theoretical lessons will be conducted in a classroom equipped with multimedia equipment, with the main use of slides in PowerPoint format. Students will be provided with an electronic version of the slides presented during the lessons. Frequency in the Dermatological Unit.

Assessment methods

The examination test is orally administrated and consists of one or more questions on the program for each of the three subjects (Infectious Diseases, Dermatology and Plastic Surgery). The number of questions may vary according to the level of preparation and in-depth study of the subject highlighted by the student in the answers.

The oral exam is the only one that contributes to the determination of the final grade. This test is linked to assessing the achievement of the educational objectives, through the verification of the acquisition of a subset of the teaching objectives.

The role of class attendance in the learning process is essential as the explanation and vision of clinical images can only be partially substituted by the study of textbooks alone.

The test does not include any documents to be delivered before the exam date.

The test involves a vote. To pass the exam, the student must obtain a pass (18/30) in each of the three subjects and the final vote expressed out of thirty is the average of the three marks.

The test is mainly referred to the verification of knowledge (of the preparation on the topics).

Instruments such as calculation aids, vocabularies, codes are not allowed during the tests

Registration for the exam takes place through AlmaEsami in specific opening periods shown on the teachers’ web pages.
