Teaching methods

During the hours of frontal teaching (25 hours, Aula Lanfranchi) computer presentations are used (Power Point). During practical hours (8 hours) students attend the Anatomical Room (8 tables) divided into 4 turns of about 20 students. Students have the opportunity to attend the Anatomical Room outside official hours. Therefore they study autonomously with a possible support of the teacher or of one of his collaborators. A loan service for osteological material was also organized.

It is advisable to wear a gown for access to the Anatomical Room.

Students with disabilities or DSA are invited to contact the teacher in order to better organize teaching and exams.

Assessment methods

The module is part of the Integrated Course: Histology, Anatomy and Veterinary Zoology. The test consists of an oral test during which the student must demonstrate that he has acquired the correct terminology and ability to connect the bone segment to muscles and ligaments. The final grade is the arithmetic average of the three modules.

Teaching tools

Anatomical room for practical exercises on fresh and dry preparations. Educational portal. Bone loan service.

The teaching material presented in class is made available to the student either directly in class or using the teacher's website.
