Learning outcomes

Students at the end of the lessons will have knowledge about microbiology and clinical microbiology, with a particular focus on the applicative aspects. They will also have been taught the main concepts about the microbial pathogenicity and laboratory diagnostics.

Teaching methods

During the lessons the topics included in the course program will be discussed with the students.

Assessment methods

Written multiple-choice test.

The evaluation of the knowledge acquired by the student is based on 64 questions for the Integrated Course of Public Healt, as follows:

Hygiene and Infectious Diseases 24 questions, Microbiology 16, Occupational Medicine 8, Radiation Protection 8, Forensic Medicine 8.

The total time allowed for the exam is 45 minutes, except for students who can take advantage of additional time, as determined by the competent offices for students with specific certification

Each correct answer equals 1 point, each wrong answer is 0, and each unanswered question is equal to 0.

The grade 18 equals 38 points. while 63 and 64 points correspond to 30L. For the other grades we will follow the proportion rating/30=score/64.

On the day of the exam,  students will not be allowed to consult books or notes
