Learning outcomes

Not mandatory but recommended course for students who want increase basic knowledge of statistics for social sciences.

Course contents

The course aims at providing the basical concepts of statistical data analysis with focus on the social sciences. At the end of the course, the student will acquire the basic skills to analyse quantitative data and to interpret the results.

More specifically, the course addresses univariate and bivariate descriptive statistics, including linear regression, then provides an introduction to statistical inference.
