We will work on several textual genres related to IT and mechanical fields. For each of these areas, specific indications will be provided on the relevant linguistic characteristics (tone, register, style, standards, etc.). The student will use several CAT tools, as well as dictionaries, glossaries, translation memories, corpora and terminology databases. The revision of the translation assignments will be carried out with specific tools commonly used by translation agencies, in order to simulate an actual professional translation task and provide students with a detailed feedback.
