Learning outcomes

With this course the student acquires a highly qualified expertise for the analysis and control of hydrological phenomena and a complete overview on major water projects concerning the civil engineering and is able to perform an advanced design of hydraulic works.

Course contents

The course presents a comprehensive panorama of hydraulic infrastructures for civil and environmental engineering. The course also discusses the advanced design procedures of structural (and non structural) measures for hydrological risk mitigation
