Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student can recognize and face simple ENT cases. In particular, the student is able to recognize the principal instrument for endoscopic diagnosis of the district and the most used materials for nasal package, to diagnose the principal ENT affections that require surgery and the odontogenic sinusitis, along with the treatment of the latter, to know the most important audiologic exams and the emergency criteria in ENT affections.

Course contents

Reminders of anatomy and physiology of the district. Principles of patho-physiology, diagnosis and therapy of the ENT district affections particularly concerning affections and symptoms of shared interest with Odontostomatology.
