Learning outcomes

Seminars are training activities that complement the didactic offer of the traditional lectures. The following is a wide offer of seminars, at the end of which, students will:

- know and understand some relevant historical, analytical and conceptual aspects of the musical disciplines;

- master the fundamentals of the methodologies elaborated in the various fields of musicological research to which the seminar chosen refers.

Course contents

During the a.y. 2017-2018 the following seminars are planned:

1. The modelling of sound with audio technologies both analogical and digital (3 credits)

Planned for I semester.

SCHEDULE: Room Picchi: 5 november, h 15-17; 12 november, h 15-17; 19 november, h 15-17; -26 november, h 15-17; 3 december, h 15-17; 10 december h 15 - 17.

Registration modalities: by e-mail to dr. Luciano Serena (lucianoserena@tiscali.it) . At least four meetings represent the minimum attendance required.

2. A Travel Inside Pietro Metastasio's Correspondence: a XVII Century Autobiography (3 credits)

Assessment methods

Students attending the seminars will not be graded but get only a suitability judgment, based on the attendance and conduct of the activities planned.
