Learning outcomes

knowledge of techniques and methods of investigation of the osteoarthritic apparatus, abdominal chest with choice of equipment, physical parameters and geometric parameters

Course contents

-Geometric Parameters: Plans, Positions and Projections.

- Physical parameters (kV, mA, time) and their use.

- Radiographic study of the urinary tract (cystography, urography, pielography): anatomy and physiology, preparation of contrast media, projections and criteria of correctness.

Radiographic study of the abdomen: anatomy and physiology, contrast's preparation , projections and criteria of correctness. Rx abdomen without contrast agent, small intestine clima, big intestine clisma.

-Radiographer in the operating room: presentation of the bv, concept of sterility, behaviors and norms to follow, radiation protection.

-Spinse's radiologic study: anatomy of the cervical, dorsal and lumbar spine, study projections and criteria of correctness.

-Lower limbs radiologic study: anatomy, study projections and criteria of correctness

Teaching methods

Frontal lessons with PPT presentation, discussion of cases and visualization of radiograms.

Assessment methods

Oral interview during which the student is invited to discuss the topics covered in the didactic material presented and discussed during the lessons.

The interview will be evaluated based on the following parameters:

 

- knowledge, mastery and depth of the content

- critical and exhibit ability

- technical-scientific terminological correctness.
