Lesson and lab work

Assessment methods

The principal learning outcomes that will be assessed are:

-  knowledge of  the main biochemical processes of environmental interest

The final grade will be composed of a written test on three  open-ended questions on the following main issues:

  1. Macromolecules (Aminoacids an proteins, protein structure, enzymes carbohydrates, lipids an biological membranes, nucleotides and coenzymes)
  2. Metabolism (Enzyme kinetics, oxygen transport, metabolism of carbohydrates: glycolisis, pentose phosphate pathway, citrate cycle (Krebs cycle), pyruvate)
  3. Metabolism (Oxydative phosphorilation,  photosynthesis, fatty acids beta oxydation, transamination)

This teaching  is part of an Integrated Course, the final grade will be proportional to the CFU of each teaching:

65951 -  BIOCHIMICA  6CFU   50% 65952 - FISIOLOGIA            6CFU   50%
