Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student knows the fundamentals of the musical grammar and the relations between the elements of acoustic and musical notation.


Course contents

The musical grammar: elementary notions of music theory. Basic outlines of the history of vocalism from the Seventeenth century to the present.

Classes will be held according to the subsequent calendar, 9.00 am to 1.00 pm in Aula didattica 2 Logopedia, 1st floor (Via Mura Diamante Torelli 67- Faenza).

Lectures and exercises: listening to and analysing music works.


Assessment methods

The examination is held in the form of interview and aims to verify the knowledge of elementary notions of music theory and history of vocalism, according to the essays indicated in the bibliography.
