Course contents

LEARNING OUTCOMES

 

At the end of this module, student has the competence of techniques and examination methodical of osteoarticular apparatus, thorax, abdomen, with the choice of equipment, physical and geometric parameters. COURSE CONTENTS

 

The radiographic projection: geometry, placement, incidence, sensitive support, analog and digital radiography. Rx chest: standard and special projections in cooperative patient and not, from the emergency room, outpatient ward, in adults and pediatric age. Rx telecuore with barium esophagus, Rx ribbs, sternum, sternal clavicular joints. Rx upper limb, shoulder, pelvis, hip joints, limbs and joints under load. The remaining parts of the skeletal apparatus are located in the program of Cola Antonella and Barbara Renzi teacher's. Abdomen for calculus, levels, trauma and foreign body. Abdomen for ballistics and forensic medicine. Pediatric abdomen and pediatric abdomen on ward. RECOMMENDED READING The updated bibliography will be announced at the beginning of the course, distributed handouts for each topic and slides of the lectures delivered. TEACHING METHODS Frontal interactive lectures, simulations case, projection and display of radiographs performed in radiology.

 

ASSESSMENT METHODS

 

Written exam with open questions preliminary oral.
