Learning outcomes

The student at the end of the course will be able to approach patients with particular needs, especially related to hygienic implant maintenance.

Course contents

  • Implant versus tooth: anatomy and microbiology comparisons.
  • Definition and diagnosis of mucositis and peri-implantitis.
  • Prevention, treatment and hygienic maintenance in patients with implant rehabilitations.
