Learning outcomes

At the end of the internship the student has attended the Conservative Department  and therefore have a preparation that allows to recognize, confront and resolve cases correlated to the complex problems of conservative dentistry.

Course contents

1. Diagnosis and treatment plan in conservative dentistry. 2. causal therapy. 3. insulation of the field. 4. Biological aspects: protection of the pulp and dentin bonding. 5. Amalgam and clinical applications. 6. Techniques of whitening. 7. Direct restorations anterior region. 8. Adhesive cementation. 9.  Direct restorations. 10. Posterior composite resin restorations: direct or indirect technique. 11. The restoration of the endodontically treated tooth. 12. Traumatology. 13. Occusal aspects in conservative dentistry.
