Learning outcomes
The student will be familiar with the various techniques in periodontal surgery, instruments and suturing techniques. At the end of the courses, the student will be able to perform scaling and root planing, simple surgeries under supervision of a tutor.

Teaching methods
The student must be able to collect clinical, radiographic and laboratory data, to make clinical diagnosis of various forms of periodontal diseases, and to prepare a treatment plan for each patient.
Assessment methods
Each student should be able to perform periodontal visit,
initial preparation, a full thickness flap, all the perio and implant basic surgery.
