Learning outcomes
The objective is the study of specific aspects of the dynamics of the contemporary economic development in the various areas of the world.
Course contents
The workshop deals with some of the relevant issues concerning economic and social development in the world, looking at the opinions of scholars, experts, witnesses from governmental and non-governmental organizations, the media and the press, culture and art.
Workshop topics will focus on international migrations and their causes, the effects of climate change, the changing framework of international relations, globalization and the technological revolution.
