The University of Bologna is operating at full capacity in all its departments, thanks to some online tools and in compliance with Italy's legal provisions in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The 85,000 students of the University of Bologna are regularly attending their classes thanks to the distance learning platform developed by the Alma Mater. This platform allows for students to actively participate in classes from remote and for live interaction with professors. At present, students can participate in 3,667 teaching activities. Each of the latter follow its own distance learning schedule pertaining to one of the 221 degree programmes of this academic year. In addition, exam and graduation sessions are happening online on a regular basis and according to the scheduled programme.

Many library services are also available online thanks to the University library system with its e-books, online journals, and data bases. Our library service has further expanded the bibliographic resources for remote access, adding to its catalogue of 400,000 e-books, 180,000 new titles. Moreover, students, researchers and professors can use the online services available for asking librarians or their department libraries for remote assistance.

Administrative services are guaranteed remotely. Students can access their user area on Studenti Online to carry out administrative procedures. They can also get in touch with student administration and right to education offices and with the other administration facilities via e-mail or through the contact methods described on the UniBo Portal, and on the web-pages of the Campuses and of the Degree Programmes.
