What is the Career Day

Our Career Day is a networking event for students/graduates of the University of Bologna and the HR departments of prominent employers – an event set up to help matching supply and demand on the job market.

Employers can showcase their companies and job vacancies, carry out short interviews with candidates, present their organizations and the opportunities offered.

Students and graduates can meet employers, submit their CVs and through direct contact highlight their motivations, expectations and interpersonal skills.

Before the event

As there is a great number of attending companies, we recommend you come prepared in advance, check the company profiles or the app Job Placement.

To make the most of the event we suggest you take advantage of the several career guidance initiatives both physical and online. Some of them will require advance booking, others will be free access, check the complete programme and find out which ones are more suitable for you!

On the day of the event

At the Career Day you can access the company booths with no need to make appointments, you may then present yourself and your skills to the human resources staff and discuss your professional goals. You may also ask information on the career paths and how to apply.

A rich programme of company presentations will give you the opportunity to learn more about the attending employers. All presentations will be held inside the fair hall with no need to reserve a place in advance.

At the hall entrance you will also find the University of Bologna booths with some university services where you can find more about the type of support you can access for your study and professional career.
