Summary:
This project aims at seeking the correlation between disinformation and misinformation in the growing of actual Euroscepticism and Nationalism’s phenomena. The activities foreseen in the 3 years include teachings (lectures and e-learning), research and the organisation of several events (conferences, seminars, roundtable debates, simulation activities, study visits) and outputs (online platform, website, book, USB Pen Drive, didactic material, e-book) aimed at enhancing knowledge on EU studies in the academic context and among civil society. The main indicators of achievement will be the students' level of active participation through the virtual platform, the percentage of conference's speakers going on with the research activity, the attendance forms and the questionnaires for the general public and the visitors of the website. Prof. Laschi will continue some existing teachings and will start 3 new ones: a module on the European reconstruction after the IIWW in the course on Contemporary History, a renovated course on History of European Integration in the framework of the Master in International Relations Europe-Latin America and a course on the Euro-project Management. A last teaching will be an e-learning course involving all partner universities. Along with the use of new technologies (website, USB drive), particular attention will be given to the implementation of a new virtual platform for students. The platform represents an innovative approach of debating activities designed to stimulate active reflection on EU among students. Materials coming from the e-learning course and from the online platform will be collected in order to create an e-book, mostly written with the participation of students. The added value of this project will be the active participation of students to all activities. Prof. Laschi wants to go beyond the frontal classes, to foster the participation of students to Chair activities.
