Service procedures implemented by the Aquaculture Section of the Cesena Campus Library

Access to the service

We provide the service in the manner prescribed by the Regolamento di Ateneo sulla durata del prestito dei beni bibliografici e conseguenze (introduced by Decreto Rettorale of 15 July 2016 and published on the Bollettino Ufficiale n. 238 of 15 September 2016, pp. 49-51), with the specifications given hereinafter. The detailed Regulations can be found in the Attachments on the right.
To borrow the materials, you must have proof of identity and/or a university badge;  if the Library staff is not present, users can contact the Degree programme Secretariat staff.

Documents that can only be read on the premises and issued on a short-term loan (day, overnight or weekend loan):

- periodicals;
- encyclopaedias and dictionaries;
- documents classified as ACQ CONS and ACQ LAB;
- rare or valuable documents or those in precarious conditions (marked with a red C).

Documents that can be loaned:

all other documents, in accordance with the following perocedure:
- multimedia (ACD CD and ACQ VIDEO sections): a maximum of 5 for 7 days (they also can be viewed using the computers in the library);
- text books (ACQ STUD section): a maximum of 5 for 30 days;
- other books: teachers and assistant professors of permanent staff: a maximum of 20 for 60 days; other users: a maximum of 10 for 30 days.

Loan requests, extensions and bookings

Users can book documents or request to extend a loan by contacting the Library or via the OPAC; they have 2 days to pick up and borrow the book.
A loan can only be extended once and only if no bookings for the documents have been made by other users, for the same period of time as the initial loan.

Delegation

Loans are personal; any user who intends to delegate a third party to pick up documents in their name must provide with a signed mandate (please see in the Atttachments), bearing the general details of the delegating and delegated parties, accompanied by a copy of the identity documents of the same.
