Silvia Bianconcini

Silvia Bianconcini is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Bologna. Her research addresses topics in statistical methodology and, more specifically, time series and longitudinal data analysis and latent variable models. Her interests include the non-parametric estimate of the trend-cycle of observed time series and statistical inference in structural equation models. Her most recent research focuses on issues in the estimation of intractable likelihoods in models for longitudinal and multidimensional data.

Since 2021, she has been Delegate for UNA Europa - Vice-Rectorship for International Relations of the University of Bologna.
