Full professor at UniBo (1994-2022). Her research interests are in Bayesian inference, sampling theory, environmental statistics, official statistics, data integration, planning of European longitudinal surveys. Active in research projects and actions for the dissemination of statistics at StatisticsAll, the annual Festival of Statistics https://www.festivalstatistica.it/ . She has been president of the Italian Statistical Society https://www.sis-statistica.it/ and of TIES http://www.environmetrics.org/ and member of Istat Council. She is Associate Editor of international Statistical Journals.
