Romanian Language and Civilisation Courses are organized each Summer by the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, which is partner of the University of Bologna within the Utrecht Network and the Coimbra Group.

About the Romania, Language and Civilisation course

The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi organizes, in July each year, this program of Summer Courses dedicated to international students whishing to learn about Romanian language and civilisation. The courses take place in July, from 5 to 25and include a series of leisure and cultural activities.

Five scholarship covering the whole application fees are offered to students coming form each partner University. Students from the University of Bologna who are interested in applying for the summer course have to send their application by May 10, 2013 to:

The documents to be sent are:

  • curriculum vitae
  • motivation letter (in English)
  • a letter of reccommendation (written and signed by a professor)
  • copy of academic transcript (in English)
  • copy of relevant page of passport (page with personal data and picture)
