Europaeum Summer School 2013 - "Rights and Citizenship in Europe: are we really equal?", Barcelona, September 2nd-7th, 2013

The international network Europaeum organizes every year a Summer School on the themes of human rights and citizenship, directed to students and scholars coming form the network's partner Universities. The 2013 edition will take place in Barcelona, at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

About the Summer School

This summer school is the 20th of Europaeum Summer Schools' series and it will focus on the themes of human rights and citizenship in Europe in light of the current crisis, that helped citizens in refocusing their interest in civic, political and economic issues and in revealing gaps and inequalities. The school will gather experts and scholars from Universities and NGOs to discuss key questions during five days of talks, panels, working-groups and debates.
The target group of the summer school are graduates, doctoral students and scholars form the network's partner Universities, who have already carried out studies in the relevant field. 

Application and deadline

In order to apply students and scholars must send to the Europaeum Office ( euroinfo@europaeum.ox.ac ):
- a letter of intent, demonstrating your interest in the event
- a short CV (max. 2 pages)
- a support letter from the candidate's supervising professor
The deadline for applications is August 15th, 2013.
