Learning outcomes
At the completion of the course, students will be able to understand and assess the impact of factors affecting international investment opportunities and financing decisions within a multinational company. The analysis will be complemented by business cases, with a focus on the financial management of international companies and the analysis of international business initiatives.

Applications
Real corporate data will be analysed using MS Excel, to find numbers that shape strategy. Students will learn how to manage big quanity of data and extract compact information to support a strategy (pivoting, filtering, vlookup, primary keys, graphs on contribution margins, fixed costs covering, break-even points).

Assessment methods
The final test will consist in an Excel full data processing task on real corporate data to determine margins, sales, costs and profits, one excercise on accouting and one open theory question on strategy, all carried out in laboratory.
