Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to explain the framework of public procurement procedure, so that the students can deeply understand the reasons of a rigid proceeding to develop whether Public Administration stipulates a contract.

Course contents

The course aims to introduce the students the key aspects of Public Procurement Law (principles, conceptual basis and rules moving from the most relevant European directives and from the legislative decree n. 163 of 2006).

Assessment methods: Some lectures combine theoretical exposition with practical study in class. It means that a part of the course is based on presentations, and discussions and comment and of European Court of Justice case law.

Goals of the course are: to develop critical sensibility and research capacity in the analysis of European and Italian jurisprudence. And also gain skills in evaluation of EU and Italian public procurement law.
