Learning outcomes

Students are able to understand and identify the main issues and the main principles of  public law and private law through the analysis of the meaning and the function of norms and facts. They will learn about  the notion of State, of forms of state and forms of government, of property, ownership and contract law. Students are exposed to a comparison between italian civil  law and english contract law and to an analysis of the main features of the different legal systems.

First Half test: written exam consisting in  1 open question on principles of public law and 1 open question on principles of italian private law

Second Half test: written exam consisting in 1 question on the Italian Civil Law or on the UK Contract Law  and in the solution of a case

Full test: 3  questions + solution of a case
