Assessment methods

The grading scale is from 0 to 30, 18 being the minimum passing grade. The weight for each part of the portfolio for the final grade is the following:

  1. First part (Orientation course 1) mainly on Scientist-Practitioner Model and Professionalisation (prof. Guido Sarchielli): up to 15 points

  2. Second part (Orientation course 2) mainly on European context and social behaviors in organizations (prof. Luca Pietrantoni): up to 15 points

The first learning outcome of the Orientation course 1 (first part, prof. Guido Sarchielli) is to acquire in-depth knowledge of State of the art in WOP psychology, Scientist-Practitioner Model and Evidence-based Psychology, Competences and professionalization; Professional ethics. It will be assessed by means of two Short Papers (2400 words each) agreed with the teacher.

The second learning outcome of the course (second part, Orientation course 2, prof. Luca Pietrantoni) is the ability to analyze and interpret social behavior in organizations and to increase knowledge of the european context. It will be provided in the e-learning platform.

The final grade will be influenced by two aspects: turning the papers/assignment in on time and assignments outside of length. With respect to punctuality, the first day late will result in a 10% grade deduction. From then on each day late will result in an additional 15% reduction (e.g., two days late will result in a 15% reduction). Assignments out of length range will be evaluated by the professor in question and will result in a 10% grade reduction.
