Learning outcomes

The laboratory is designed to train students on some practical aspects. The activity is designed to allow students to apply specialized techniques in the management of disciplinary contents. The laboratories will deal with the themes related to one or more the areas of learning: computer science; literary, linguistic, historical/cultural and related to the arts in the digital context; transversal: economics, law and communication.

Course contents

The laboratory will be organized in a cycle of practical activities related to the DH domain, in order to enhance skills and competences in managing cultural data by mixing and merging tools, tecniques and applications.

In detail, the topics will be related to:

  • 3D modelling with Unreal Engine
  • designing virtual environments with Blender
  • tools and tecniques for digital storytelling and electronic publishing
  • principles of project management
  • experiences and practices in DH domain
