15300 - Mathematical Analysis A

Academic Year 2022/2023

  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Cesena
  • Corso: First cycle degree programme (L) in Biomedical Engineering (cod. 9082)

Also valid for First cycle degree programme (L) in Electronics Engineering (cod. 5834)

Learning outcomes

After having attended the course, the student can consider models depending on a real variable by means of basic differential and integral calculus. In particular he/she is able to deal with real and complex numbers, can study functions of one real variable locally and globally, he/she knows and can apply the Riemann integral calculus in one real variable, the main results on number and power series. Furthermore, the student knows the main results and methods to solve ordinary differential equations coming from physics models.

Course contents

The field of real numbers. Limits and continuity. Differential calculus. Integral calculus. Series. The field of complex numbers. Ordinary differential equations.
