Learning outcomes

The course aims to introduce:

the basic principles of PET and gamma camera nuclear medicine equipment.
the single and multi-head systems with fixed and variable geometry,
the combined PET / CT, SPECT / CT systems
the acquisition protocols (e.g., Static, dynamic, tomographic and gated studies)
the processing and reconstruction protocols.
