Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student possesses the fundamental concepts and terminology of private law, with particular regard to the notions and discipline of the subjects of private law, of the right of ownership and possession, of the contract in general, of contracts of sale, contract, lease, mandate, mortgage, loan, and illegal act. He also acquires the basic notions regarding subjects of the sports system, sports employment contract, sports sponsorship contract, sports offense. Finally, he acquires the ability to find regulatory sources, to consult codes and databases and therefore to update himself on the sector regulations.

Course contents

Elements of private law.

The sources of law. The subjects of law. The rights of the personality. Legal persons, companies and associations. Ownership and possession. The bonds; fulfillment and default. The contract and contractual autonomy; elements, effects, pathologies, termination of the contract. Review of typical contracts; concept of atypicality. Illicit fact and responsibility.

Elements of sports law.

The sports system. The subjects of the sports system. The amateurism.

Frontal lessons in the classroom.

Assessment methods

Oral exam, with the formulation of three questions per student, concerning all the topics indicated in the exam program.
