Academic Year 2021/2022

Course contents

The workshop is focused on the analysis of self-assessment tools useful to support, in adult training contexts, self-reflection and improvement processes in relation to strategic competencies for lifelong learning and professional action. In particular, the contents and activities proposed during the workshop aim to promote:

  • a reflection on adult learning processes and on the concept of adult as "self-directed learner";
  • a reflection on strategic competencies to effectively face learning and work situations and to manage the continuous process of one's personal and professional development;
  • the analysis of standardized tools for the self-assessment of these strategic competencies;
  • the acquisition of skills related to the use of these tools (from administration to analysis and return of results).

The implications related to the use of the tools examined in terms of designing/setting up training courses aimed at promoting the improvement of the strategic competencies will also be analyzed and discussed.
