Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student: - knows the bases of the sports legal system, as well as the sources of state and domestic law governing the most important institutions, both as regards amateur and amateur sports, and as regards professional sporting activity; - will be able to deal with the analysis of the main and most recurring legal issues relating to the exercise of sporting activity, identifying solutions relating to individual cases.

Course contents

Sports activities and pubic/administrative law (basic notions);

The Legislative Decree 28 February 2021, n. 38: modernization and construction of sports facilities;

Construction and management of municipal sports facilities;

Construction and renovation of public sports facilities through tenders and concessions;

National and regional discipline of the procedures for entrusting the management of sports facilities owned by local authorities;

Practical cases of related jurisprudence;

Safety management in sports facilities and related responsibility profiles:

- Sports activity and Legislative Decree 9 April 2008, n. 81

- Planning of risk prevention in the workplace

- The obligations of the employer

- Manager, supervisor, worker

- The delegation of functions

- Sports associations and safety regulations

- Civil liability

- Criminal and administrative liability

Assessment methods

The exam will take place in oral form by proposing questions, general or specific, on topics related to those indicated in the "Contents" section. in order to verify the students' acquisition of the notions imparted within the course.

The student's degree of preparation will be assessed as follows:

18-19 Very limited preparation. Basic answer to questions. Not very technical exhibition.

20-23 Discreet preparation. Acceptable answer to questions. Exhibition with elements of technicality.

24-27 Good preparation. Relevant answers. Technical and appropriate exposure.

28-29 Excellent preparation. Complete answers with exact terminology. Good ability display.

30 Excellent preparation. Answers supported by complete knowledge and with very adequate terminology. Systematic display.

30 L Uncommon and excellent preparation. Very satisfying answers that denote study, in-depth culture and acquired logical ability. Reconstructive and brilliant display.
