Course contents

1. Macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of the cephalic district, with particular reference to the supporting teeth-tissue apparatus. 2. Carious pathology: etiopathogenesis, clinical signs, symptoms, signs of therapy. 3. Periapical pathologies of endodontic origin: etiopathogenesis, clinical signs, symptomatology, signs of therapy. 4. Periodontal pathology: etiopathogenesis, clinical signs, symptomatology, signs of therapy. 5. The pillars of prevention in dentistry: home oral hygiene, healthy nutrition, topical and systemic fluoroprophylaxis, periodic visits, sealing of grooves and fissures. 6. The promotion of oral health in patients in conditions of health vulnerability. 7. Promotion of oral health in geriatric age. 8.The functions of the stomatognathic apparatus, with particular reference to the phonation. 9. Orthopedic-orthodontic pathologies: etiopathogenesis, clinical signs, symptomatology, clinical signs. 10 labiopalatoschisis
