Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is familiar with the fundamental tools of wealth consulting, with specific reference to the role of private banker and professionals oriented to personal financial planning, even related to High-Net-Worth Individual. In particular he is able to master: - the asset management of portfolios - the link between macroeconomic variables (scenario analysis) and the impacts on financial planning - the main aspects of real estate management - the interconnections between business management and family business. - the insurance and pension aspects of the personal life cycle - tax planning

Course contents

The course deals with various topics related to wealth management including:
Personal financial planning, strategic asset allocation, funds' and managers' performance, commodities, behavioural finance, pension and insurance planning, real estate investments, succession planning, alternative investments.

Teaching methods

The lecturer will explain the theoretical aspects of the topics chosen for the course and will try to present the connection between them and the professional reality of wealth management in banks, private banker networks or family offices.

The wealth management will be presented also from the asset allocation and portfolio management point of view, as managed by banks and institutional investors in general.

Assessment methods

Written exam on online platform, consisting of open-ended and multiple choice questions.
