Learning outcomes

knowledge and understanding: to understand: a) anatomo-functional characteristics of cellular components of the alimentary canal; b) microbiological characteristics of Hp; c) molecular mechanism of neuro-immune interplay applying knowledge and understanding: to learn: a) clinical management of functional digestive syndromes; differential diagnosis with organic diseases b) clinical management of Hp infection making judgements: to judge clinical relevance and need of appropriate treatment of patients with digestive symptoms with or without organic diseases communication skills: state of the art, high quality slides will be presented and communication skills shown and explained throughout the course learning skills: students will be exposed to state of the art lectures in an international environment
