Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student acquires the teaching techniques and tools for managing sports activities with people with disabilities and knows the various types of deficits: physical, intellectual and relational, sensorial. In particular, the student, evaluating its importance, acquires a higher level of emotional awareness, a fundamental aspect in the management of relational dynamics with people with disabilities. The student learns the different communication techniques aimed at managing the activities also through the presence, in the module, of a part of theoretical intervention to be carried out in the classroom and a part of practical intervention to be carried out in the gym. The student also knows and acquires the various methodologies of adapted and non-adapted sports activities, and the following unstructured activities: objectives, planning and programming, method of conducting unstructured situations, contents, evaluation. Finally, the student knows the rules and is able to use and adapt the teaching methodology of team play in different situations of deficit, also through an appropriate management of motor interventions with people with disabilities, paying particular attention to the dynamics of relationships and communication in the conduct of motor interventions aimed at people with deficits (mental, physical and sensory). The student is therefore able to design, conduct and manage programs of adapted sports and motor activity, identifying integration as the primary objective of all interventions aimed at people with disabilities and socio-affective empowerment as a tool to motivate people with disabilities. be promoters of their own well-being
