Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student gets to know in depth the Christian and medieval artistic civilization focused on the regional reality, also in the light of the different external influences, in the period between the 5th and the 12th century. Through the examination of a specific theme, analyzed in order to illustrate the correct methods of interpretation, he knows all kinds of data and possesses the tools to critically address the issues related to the period in question and their historical contextualization. Has the critical ability to set up and carry out research conducted in a methodologically correct way using any type of source.
