Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students will have acquired advanced knowledge on sleep, torpor / hibernation and energy metabolism, which will have enabled them to understand the interactions between these physiological phenomena and the bases of their applicative and clinical translation.

Course contents

Unfortunately, the organization of the course, which had been characterized by a marked internationalization, was significantly affected by changes in clinical and didactic activity and restrictions on travel caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The course program is being redefined to offer students the best teaching experience compatible with the present circumstances.

The lessons will be held online in the period 31 August - 11 September 2020.
