  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: Second cycle degree programme (LM) in Sciences and Techniques of Sports Activities (cod. 9069)

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student will be able to know the specific problems concerning start-up and sports education in childhood, both for what concerns the skills that a coach/educator must possess, and for the aspects connected to the involvement of the family and the role that the school can take in the promotion of culture and sports activity. In particular, the educational mediation paths that characterize the inclusion of boys and girls in sports will be highlighted; the psycho-pedagogical and organizational problems that characterize sports settings aimed at children and the correct ways to deal with them. A correct sport education has an important reference point in motor praxis. At the end of the course, the student will have skills in educational experiences analysis, both in formal and non-formal contexts, using the epistemological foundations of Motor Praxeology, a branch of human motor sciences, particularly the following basic concepts: Motor Conduct, Games’ Universals, Internal and External Logic of play and games, Sociomotricity, Semiomotricity. Each category of game is worthy of analysis and evaluation in relation to its educational contributions, especially taking into account that the recreational motor activities develop, on a pedagogical level, models of motor behavior of the decision.
