course contents is related to Basic concepts of preventing transmission of infectious agents in health care settings

1) Chain of infections : definition of source of infectionsSusceptible hosts, modes of trasmission  and related  opportunities to break the chain

 Healthcare Associated Infections : definition , epidemioloical data. Standard and Transmission based Precautions in Health care settings, deepening Hand Hygiene and Respiratory Etiquette

2)Infectious agents of special infection control interest for health care settings : Cl Difficile and MDRO's. Surveillance tools for case findings of single patients or cluster of patients infected or colonized with epidemiologially important organisms

4) Cleaning and  Disinfections strategies for Medical Equipment and devices
