Course contents

The course introduces students to the archaeological study of the period from the 3rd to the 8th centuries AD and presents the major monuments and significant discoveries in the field. The course comprises an introductory module on methodology, a main module involving systematic study of excavations, materials, and monuments, and a final orientational module dedicated to bibliographical references and multimedia research relating to the archaeological study of the period in question.
