Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will have the instruments to investigate the main trends and to apply advanced social research techniques on consumptions, optimizing examination abilities and learning to work both on an individual and on a collective approach.

An analysis of fashion exhibitions of the last decades will show that both fashion scholars and museums have started understanding fashion from a broader perspective.
During the
ATTENDING STUDENTS:
Attending students will analyze Mega Social Trends (such as Rapid Urbanization, Changing Demographics, Hyper Globalization, Accelerated Innovation) and their impact on the fashion system. The visual representation of trends will be done through moodboards and with the contribution of Bologna Lab on Virtual/Augmented Reality (Prof. Gustavo Marfia).
Assessment: Individual essays + Collective Moodboards
Research on fashion trends, consumption and representation of fashion.

- critical awareness of the complexity of the representation of fashion
- survey and analysis of the main conceptual contents examined;
- ability to establish well-founded relations between the different aspects of the program.
