Learning outcomes

The course aims to enable the acquisition of skills on the following topics:

- The reports of treatment: analysis of problem areas and finding solutions through the conceptual devices of science education;

- Interpersonal communication in care settings and relationships between colleagues, principal coordinates analysis and methodological aspects that enable effective communication;

- The dynamics in work groups - Methods for handling interpersonal conflicts.

Course contents

The course will focus on the following topics:


- the contribution of pedagogy and of the educational sciences to the care professions

- interpersonal communication in care settings and between colleagues: the coordinates to communicate effectively,

- the dynamics in the working groups and management of the problematic aspects e

- conflict management and resolution strategies.

Readings/Bibliography

At the beginning of the course will be distributed educational materials and bibliographical information that will form the basis of the exam. The teacher will also provide handouts to facilitate the study.

Teaching methods

Lectures will be combined with some practical exercises, case studies and group projects in order to involve students active participation.

Assessment methods

The exam consists of a written test (closed questions and short open answers).
